Women rider in Connecticut

A Scot who moved to the States 2 years ago and a former WIMA UK member, I'm looking for a club to join that promotes women riders. If no such clubs exist, I would simply like to ride with other women riders. I live in Stamford, Connecticut. I've been riding for 10 years in the UK and finally made the time to sit my test here in CT a few weeks ago. I plan to buy a Triumph Bonneville. My first bike was a Yamaha Virago 535cc, then a Yamaha XJ6. ( I have a bias for Yamaha's bikes and guitars :-)).
