waterproof mc boots for big calves

I live in a rainy place and I want to ride as much as possible. I have waterproof pants and jacket, but my feet get wet wearing my Doc Martens. I have been searching for waterproof motorcycle boots, but apparently my calves (and sometimes ankles) are larger than average and I can't zip the damn things up. Any suggestions?

ditto on calves, 40+ years ago they were all kick and I rotated legs to kick over .. Even now they are huge

Mink oil your boots, including the tongue .. this will help .. it will change out the colour to darker. which reminds me I need to do my pink shit kickers LOL

DH has boot covers he likes them but I think they are dangerous as the bottoms do not have much tread

Have you tried the kid of boot that comes up to your ankles, more like a hikers boot. MC Books come in all types, from MC shoes to knee highs and everything in between. Just get on line and you will see. Hope this helps.

I found some Harley gaters that go over boots on ebay. I too have large calves (more like cows,lol) & really like them, easy to ride in & to get on & off. Brand names don't matter to me,
I have a Kawasaki Vulcan 900LT & a Victory Cross Roads.

have you tried the frog togg legg boot covers. they go over your existing boots and are available online and in some of the more expensive sporting goods stores. just a suggestion as they are small enough that you can pack them onto the bike with your other rain gear
