just had the same happen to me and very helpful ex derbi dealer told me derbis have known of a problem but not recalled bikes.the fuel tank vent fails to realease pressure in tank which then destroys diaphram in valve causing pressurised fuel into float bowl nad hence flooding.dont just change diaphram at base of tank(£60) as until tank vents properly it will destroy replacement part
