Sweaty summer

by Sproket
(Va)

Summer riding, hot motorcycle, sweat. My jeans are usually SOAKED on a hot day on the bike. That seat, the engine, and me.....warm.

Does anyone have a solution? I've read pros and cons on the bead seat. The same goes for the sheepskin. More of the same for anti-monkey butt.

Am I the only one/girl with this problem? Everything I read about this problem is about men...any girls out there that just plain old sweat and have jeans that soak it up?

Hey KP, thanks for your advice. I've since purchased Anti-Monkey Butt powder (amazing stuff) and I have my eye on a pair of Joe Rocket Phoenix 2.0 pants. Great advice! Thanks again.

yes, rest assured you are not alone.

I ditched the jeans on rides a long time ago. All they do is soak up the sweat and make you feel like you wet your pants. Invest in some riding pants. A couple of good ones are the Joe Rocket Alter Ego and Dainese Drake Air pants. Both have vents, and are breathable.
I'm also a fan of anti-monkey butt powder and I wear either Under Armour compression shorts or Long Distance riding shorts.
