Sophisticated Shirts for Serious Female Riders

by Keriake Lucas
(Columbus, OH)

I'm a Harley rider and have grown tired of the lack of empowering shirt for female riders. Especially shirts that aren't fitting or flattering.

So after graduating to a Harley Deluxe, and attending various rallies across the country, I decided to start my own line of shirts under the name "Motorcycle Mavens."

Shirts that speak to a female rider and focus on positive and fun messages to let others know that women can seriously take charge of and showcase their passion for riding.

As I launch the line, I'd appreciate feedback and insight from other female riders to help the line be a success.

You can check out the current line at motorcyclemavens.com

Great line of clothes...just one request...
by: Jessica

I love your line of clothes! Smart but fun. I have one request. As I get older (and less firm/svelte), I look for shirts with slightly longer sleeves, as opposed to the almost "cap" t-shirt that is so popular and seems to be on your site. Doesn't have to be to the elbow of course - but a little more coverage of the upper arm would make me a life-time fan. It's one of the problems I have w/ HD brand women's shirts - other than the ridiculous cost.

NICE
by: Aili

I likey.

Finding suitable clothing for my lifestyle has always been a challenge - from decent winter boots to modern jeans that don't make me look like a plumber.

I'd love to find some button-down and/or polo style shirts that are feminine cut, also a button-down a little loose in the back, but not the front. I like a fitted look, but sometimes I carry a handgun and need something light-weight and comfortable to conceal my "bump". I was thinking of buying men's shirts and adding darts to the front.

Thanks for the feedback!

I appreciate your taking time to look at the site and provide feedback.

I am looking into manufacturing shirts that are larger sizes given your request and other feedback received.

2X and 3X...shirt you will wear with pride.

That said, give me some time (several weeks as I push this through) and check back on the site.

Thank you again.

Plus Size tops - 22, 24 and Up
by: Pam

It is hard for me to find tops that fit, or any over size large, and most 2x and 3x are not the same size as the ones I buy in stores, more plus size clothes, thanks,

Please Consider V-Necks
by: M

For those of us that are well endowed, I suggest you offer v-neck options too. It offers a more slimming look. Larger or plus sizes don't take into account curves. Also, I concur with the need for creme color shirts. I look awful in pink!

I would love to see someone sell cute shirts in a female cut that fit plus-size gals - I would be all over that!

I love them, I will be getting one soon. I especially like the God, bike and husband one.

What about white background shirts with cool prints on the front ~ I always look for white, cream, or light colored shirts especially for warm weather riding and hanging out~

Thanks,
