Small reach clutch and brake levers

I am new to riding. I fell in love with motorcycling just couple of years ago, at age 50, riding 2 up with my husband. Took my classes, passed, and now have 2 bikes:VStar 250 and VStar 650 Silverado. I am having difficulty reaching the clutch and brake levers with my small hands. In fact, reaching for the brake caused me to pull on the throttle and you can imagine what happened next. So...I need to get speciality hand levers. Any ideas?

I am having the same problem i just got my first bike a honda shadow 750 and like the comment before mine the same thing is happening. What should i do?

Hands too smalll...

Hi - I have the exact same problem! I am 54, 4"10", and wrecked my bike the very first time I tried to ride because every time I reached for the break, I hit the Throttle instead. I will wtach this thread & see if we get any suggestions! Best of luck to you!
