Ride Like a Pro Video

Howdy Ladies!

I just purchased and viewed the Jerry "Motorman"Paladino Video "Ride Like a Pro". I have about 150 miles on my bike, and I struggle with turns. I dropped my bike a couple weeks back. I had mentioned on another post that I wish I had at least a bit of experience before I took the MSF class so I could better practice some of the turning and braking skills with instruction. Well, this video was good, they made riding look like a breeze! Jerry is a Motorcycle cop and applies the techniques used to train moto cops with 3 important skills, 1. Using the Friction Zone, 2. Head and eyes position 3. Using rear brake. He demonstrates every exercises in detail. ANYHOW, I am anxious to practice these. Has anyone else viewed this video and learned from it? Hope to hear some feedback. Thanks!

Oh yes.....I watched the videos and was truly amazed at how much my riding skills have improved...especially the slow turns...and I admit....it takes practice,practice,practice...now looking forward to,hopefully,attending one of the courses

Ride like a Pro (DynaLady)

This is a fabulous video. I have been riding for approximately 6 years. This is the most informational and helpful video that I have come across for the ladies. Practice, Practice, Practice, is the most important and that is all I can say. We have several lady clubs & chapters in the Sacramento area which we practice many of these skills and our men are always invited. Chrome Divas is one of these awesome chapters. I belong to Sacramento Valley CD and Sierra Foothils CD. I also organize a ladies ride which is in its 3rd year and is very fast becoming HUGE! We now have a 7 member committee because I just can't do it on my own and we are going to have a served lunch by our men on Mothers Day weekend May 9th. I hope you may be able to join us. Ride Like a Pro Video

I've been watching the video and my husband bought orange cones. We go out to a parking lot in an industrial zone and practice slow maneuvers. It really helps.. mastering the slow parking lot skills has been very helpful.
