I'm 5' 3", but a very short inseam. I am currently riding a Suzuki Boulevard C50. It has been modified by putting a lower seat on, lowering the shocks, and rolling the handle bars back. It fits me like a glove, but I am also looking for something with a bigger engine. I sat on the Victory Highball the other day and fell in love. I could flat foot it with my tennis shoes on. Of course, I want to take it for a test drive before making any decisions. But I've been dreaming about that bike! Good luck!

I'm short too! by: Lauren
I'm 5'3" and didn't want to spend all the money it costs to modify a bike so I just bought a Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Classic LT. It is low enough so there's not a single modification needed. The bike was affordable as well. The used bikes are even more affordable and you might be able to find one with some bling on it for a great price.

Don't let anyone tell you that you cannot ride a certain bike just because you are short. I'm 5'1" and ride and own a Fatboy and a Roadking Classic. Any bike can be modified for you. My husband has lowered both of these bikes for me. Plus different seats will give you a better fit as well. So my suggestion is for you to find a good motorcycle mechanic that can do modifications then discuss with him what needs to be done to make the bike fit you. We lowered my bikes, changes to low profile seats, and measured me for new handlebars to where I'm sitting comfortable. Like I said you just meed a good mechanic to work with you. Any bike can be modified to fit you. Now go decide what bike you like! I would however suggest that the Fatboy, Heritage, or Deluxe are all 3 nice balanced bikes for us shorter ladies. Good luck in your hunting now!
