My bucket list

Before I turned 40 this past May I decided it was time for a bucket list. I have been riding behind my husband for years and decided on my list was to learn to ride my own so I took the written test and got my permit. I rode all summer on my VStar 650 then I took the MC safety course and then my test. After spending the summer riding I decided that I love the ride....it's all about the ride!
I have been riding in the rain, 120 degree humid days, 25 degree days, and perfectly beautiful Minnesota days (A total of 3,600 this summer) and every day after riding I always think it was a good day because I got to ride. The freedom and the wind on my face are the ultimate reasons I ride.

Just a decade behind you :-)

I recently turned 50 and decided after years of riding as a passanger, it was time for my own bike. I grew up riding dirt bikes but didn't have much experience on a street bike. I bought my self a Kawasaki Vulcan 500 and have put 450 miles on it this month!! I also love the freedom and the wind on my face. It makes me feel young again. Enjoy!

Way to go! I have found that riding relaxes me and takes my mind off of my struggles--keeps life in perspective for me. I recently purchased a harley road king and cannot wait to put some miles on it, I hate winter!
