Kawasaki Ninja 250 2012

My husband and I wanted to learn how to ride, so the first thing we did was went to a local motorcycle shop and looked around. We bought Helmets and jackets. Then we looked at motorcycles for my husband and we bought this Ninja 250. After we learned to ride he wanted something faster so I took this bike. It is lightweight and easy to handle. I can sit up or lean down. It is perfect for getting around, but next year I want to look at some bigger engines so I can keep up with him.

My Nellie Ninja

I received my green Ninja 250 for my 50th birthday in August 2012. It had 14km on the clock and now 5 months later I have 11,oookm on it. Australia is a big place! I love my Nellie, we are great mates and I won't be upgrading any time soon - I make my husband follow me!!!!

Ninja 250

My first bike was a Ninja 250 as well, and I spent a year on it after taking the MSF riding course getting comfortable with my skills. I have moved up two bikes since then, but sometimes I still miss that nimble little Ninja. At the time, my husband had a Kawasaki ZZR1200....My daughter used to call my Ninja "the baby bike" because it looked so small next to his! It's a great bike to learn on and even though I am sure you will get something with more power to keep up with your husband or more comfort for longer trips, you will always look back with love for that Ninja! Keep the shiny side up!
