freedom and relaxation tension relief and just plain fun
by diana
I have fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue. Riding gives me the relief from pain that I need. When I ride I don't think about anything but riding and enjoying the scenery. I may be sore and tired when I am done but a hot shower and the best nights sleep and I am good as rain the next day. I put almost 10000 miles yes 10 thousand miles on my bike just last year. My husband got it used for me for a Christmas present. It is a 2006 Honda shadow aero. I fell in love with the bike when Iwas 16 and couldnt afford one then. Now I have my shadow and couldn't be happier. We hope to upgrade to GoldWings in the next couple of years. We rode to West Virginia from Vicksburg, ms in two days. That was 500 miles a day. We spent a few days there and then came back in two days also. I highly recommend the Natchez Trace if you are coming down this way. We rode the whole thing in one day. We made many stops and looked at the scenery. We plan to ride to Yellowstone and Mount Rushmore this August for our 27th wedding anniversary. It should be two weeks of bliss. This is why I ride. To be free and forget about all the worries of life and just enjoy some of it before it is too late and I can't ride anymore. I guess I will have to get a trike then and keep on riding.
