Forward controls

Harley makes something called a 'reduced reach forward control conversion kit - part #50700010. It says it fits -04 and later XL models equipped with forward controls. I had a friend who put these on her 2012 Sportster Superlow XL. She had to buy the forward control kit, plus the conversion kit as the Superlow comes with mid-controls and not forward. But since you already have forward controls on yours, I would think you could just put the conversion kit on it. Anyway, you might want to talk to the guys in the parts department to see if this is something that would work for you.

Forward controls

I too am short and find some forward controls out of reach or uncomfortably forward.

They make the 883 & 1200 Low with standard pegs. Much nicer for us vertically challenged. Maybe you can get a good trade and find a used one.

Fwd controls

Your best bet would be to either go to or call the service dept at a dealer and let them do it properly. Or a trusted bike mechanic.
