First Ride This Year

1990 FXRS

The weather in Michigan was wonderful today, so I took my bike out for her first 2011 ride. This is only my second season so I was a little nervous when I first got on her, but by the time I was a half mile down the road we were old friends again! I actually felt more comfortable than I did the last time I rode back in November. I rode for about 2 hours. Didn't want to come home!

Now she's back in the garage (probably for another month, knowing Michigan weather) waiting for the next time. Ahh, what a tease!

Good Old N.E. Weather

I too rode for the first time this season..my second year of riding...I wasn't nervous like last summer..got right out onto the road and hit the highway..think I surprised myself!! With gas her at $4+ for the premium I have a feeling I will put on the miles this summer!! I can hardly wait..LOVIN it!!

I live in Ohio so I'm in the same boat you are! I was glad to hear you felt more comfortable than you did last November. This too will be my second season and November was the last time I rode, so I'm looking forward to getting out soon!

First Ride

Loved your state this past summer when my husband and nine others rode from NC to the upper peninsula. Of course the 100 degree weather that was experienced was a little rough. Beautiful state and loved the flowers planted along the city streets and the absence of litter along the back roads... We pulled in our garage with almost 3000 miles on our bikes in eight short days.
