Caramel Sundae and 'Karina'
I have wanted to learn how to ride a motorcycle since I was about 12yo. I can remember hearing my neighbors who happened to be brothers riding their bikes through the neighborhood years ago and I was just in awe hearing their loud pipes. I never forgot the sound of those pipes and at the age of 39 that desire never went away.
When I met my husband and he realized I like to ride he took me on a date out to dinner on the back of his bike. I think I rode on the back of his Honda VTX 1300 all of 4 times and then he decided to teach me how to ride. I studied for my permit and passed the written test on my first try. He immediately signed me up for the Beginners/Safety course. and purchased an old Yamaha 1100 for me so that I could practice, drop and do whatever with....shortly after that he bought me a new Yamaha V-Star 1100. It was love at first site when I saw Karina looking so beautiful on the showroom floor. The very weekend we brought her home, hubby and I packed our bags and rode to Birmingham, Alabama for a weekend trip. That's been my best trip so far. We now belong to the Buffalo Soldiers MC and enjoy riding our bikes together and crossing several different state lines.
The wind in my face and my hubby riding in formation beside me in the next position....Oh what a feeling!!
