A small bottle of spray on conditioner. The tangles come right out!

I have long, thick, wavy hair (thanks MOM) that is layered. I've tried everything but the babypowder tip.
I carry a travel brush and a small bottle of "spray-on" conditioner. Spray it on and tangles come right out!
Sometimes I use mousse or styling gel prior to riding for the top and sides tho. I have used the waterless or dry shampoo too but you need a towel to fluff your hair and your brush.
