A year ago I upgraded from a Suzuki Boulevard C50 to the HD road king and I just love it. I was looking for more power and a smoother ride and I found it. Since I'm only 5'4", the road king had to be modified to fit my frame. I'm here to tell you that it can be done for the right $$! Since I bought the bike, I've ridden it to Maine and back again without issue. I like the heavier bike when traveling; water on the road, wind and trucks don't bother me anymore. I always get plenty of looks and comments wherever I go on the road king--ride on sisters!

Suzuki Boulevard C50

I loved my suzuki boulevard, however when I bought it, it was already lowered and had several mods made to and it was the perfect set up for me. Since it rode so low, sharp turns dragged the footboards and the ride was not so smooth (no suspension). I'm sure the lowering kit had a lot to do with the rough ride. I recommend the bouleavard to lady riders all the time--that bike took me thousands of miles without any issues!!

Your Road King is beautiful, you look great on it. I am thinking of getting either the Boulevard or the V-Star. Are you saying riding on the Boulevard is not smooth, and in what way? Thanks.
