2009 Yamaha V Star 650 Custom

I spent the winter adding my own little vibe & comfy customizations. I have a page re:.this bike when I first bought it. I stated that I had already outgrown it. Well, that being said I did purchase the 2012 Harley Switchback which I love for long cruising rides. But, you can't beat my little 650 for maneuverability around town. There isn't much money in resale or trade on my 650 though, so I will not part with this little honey!! I've put way too much money into it. I do excellent maintenance , and just put new Metzler triple 8 tires on!! Sweet!!!! I need two bikes anyway, don't I!? LOL

I'm happy you have a bike too! For me, just a ride on my bike can make a lousy day turn into a much better one!!! It's a great stress reliever!!

Yes the HD Sporty is a rougher ride than the V star. v star is pretty smooth. My switchback feels like a caddy tho, lol

My neighbor just upgraded from her '96 HD Sporty to a 650 VStar & loves it. It is much better on the all day rides than the Sporty. She says she feels confident and loves how well balanced it feels.

Your switch back is very nice too.
