2009 Yamaha Star 950

Purchased this bike new in August 2010 and have over 17K miles on her. Its candy apple red with lot of chrome. I love this bike, it is so well balanced and easy to ride. Prior to the 950 I had a Yamaha 650 and it was fun to ride, light weight, etc. but does not compare to the 950.

Your comment has gone too long with no happy support, so I will add mine! I love my Yamaha 950 Tour. I agree that it is a beautifully balanced bike and I love mine. My only issue with this bike is that its center of gravity seems a little high, so if you start to tip, it doesn't take long before you reach the "point of no return" and end up laying her down. It's happened to me a few times. But as I get to know the bike better, I expect this will stop happening. Otherwise, this is my baby, for sure. I've only had mine this summer so far, but I have already put a few thousand kilometres on it. I think the 950 is an oft-overlooked, beautiful option for us.
