2008 Honda VTX 1300R

2008 VTX 1300 R with lots of goodies.

This is my 3rd motorcycle after taking the sport back up at age 55. I had ridden in my twenties and early 30's but then gave it up for a more "mature" lifestyle. I have always loved motorcycles. At age 55, I bought a new Honda Aero that was pearl white. I traded that for a 2006 VTX 1300 that was deep candy red. I finally settled on the white 2008 VTX 1300.

Thank you ladies for your comments. I have a 750 shadow and shopping for my next bike. I am 55 and have ridden it last season. Now I know that I will go for the VTX 1300 I was worried it might be to big. Now not so much lol thanks again from Kelowna Canada

Greeting,
I bought the Blue 08. My first ride was a 99 Shadow Ace, my husband now rides...heehee...Yup I inspired him...I have 30000 miles on it. Bought with 6 miles...By far not finished adding miles but found the love of anything more than 300 miles a day. I have done 3 IBA SS1K an I am planning my next one...Would you consider or have you ever ridden a BMW K?

I love my VTX...well, it was my husband's but I claimed as my own and now he has a different bike. I refuse to give it up. This winter I will be painting it pearl white and getting it pin striped...also making sure my name is on it. :)

Just bought a 2008 VTX1300 Tourer 2 years after selling my 750 Aero. Much more comfortable bike.
