2000 Yamaha Royal Star

by Nanci Rogers, Ace High Leathers
(Montague, CA USA)

My bike was originally created (1996-2001)as Yamaha's version of the Harley Road King. As a leather worker my hands take a lot of punishiment due to the amount of hammering I do. My husband suggested that I try his Royal Star and the rest is history. The V Four 1300 with my new fairing is the ticket for me; oh so smooth!

Great Bike

Great bike and very beautiful leathers. From the time I saw your bike I said to my wife that I will do the same with my royal star. Can you please tell me where did you get the fairing?

Very nice!

I agree with Robin. I've never ridden a bike with a fairing or foot boards, but I guess like anything else it would just take some getting used to. I love your bike. She is a real beauty. I'm really into the old school style and when I move up in size, I'll be looking at V-stars and Road Stars. I would love the two-tone and some nice skirted and tipped fenders. Enjoy and be safe!

Nice!

Really nice bike! I have hard bags on my 2012 wishlist for my 1100 VStar. The fairing looks really cool with the solo seat. Thanks for posting.

farings

I really like the modes to your Royal Star. The fairing work great for wind, rain and rocks. I ride a Can-Am Spyder RT so my fairings are built in along with air deflectors. They work well for me and yours work well for you.
I like the leather seat on you bike!!!
Ryde safe.

Very Nice bike.

I just can't get myself to try a fairing. I know that they would cut a lot of cold wind. But,I want to see what's in front of me. I've heard everyone say your suppose to look ahead, I do!, but we live back in the boonies on a gravel road and I want to see what's RIGHT in front of me.
