My 2000 V-Star Classic

I enjoyed being a passenger on my husband's RoadKing so much that last fall, at the age of 48, I took the course and got my license without my husband knowing. Once I passed he bought me my first bike. Unfortunately, It was late in the season to get comfortable with it. I am so looking forward to riding real soon.

Congrats on your bike! I got my first bike 2 years ago with my husband's support. And I can truly say nothing is better than riding beside your very best friend. You two have fun-be safe!

Nice wheels Cathy,,, I had a 2002 Yamaha classic and did a lot of riding with that one until I sold it to a guy in Quebec. You will be so happy with it,,, ride safe and keep the sunny side up!!!!

I'm the husband Cathi referred to, and she is doing very well on her bike. We recently added the Cobra exhaust so she could hear the engine better for shifting her gears. Congrats Honey on your own page.

It's a Beauty!

Congrats on your bike! It is really a beauty!

I hope you will keep up posted on your experience of learning on your bike. It is really different to ride your own bike than in the class. I Think it would really help all us newbies to chat about how we learn and progress.
