1200L Sportster 06'

Well, I like this bike b/c it is lower for women. Not that I needed that but I have had alot of women sit on my bike and they like the feel. I got a solo seat made especially for women from my boyfriend for my big 50 birthday. It brings you closer to the tank. Also not that I needed that either. I have long legs. I would like to have forward controls put on but the $$$$. I like the 1200 b/c I feel the trade in value would be better than the 883. Plus I could not pick the bike up from the kickstand on the 883. Very top heavy. My bike is small enough but can still keep up with the big guys. Has alot of snot. My SO has and Electric Glide Ultra and I can get ahead of him from the start. I love my Harley and I am not saying that you have to have a Harley but that was my dream before I turned 50. And I did it. And I LOVE it. I think that any 2 wheel bikes on the road that a woman is driving is the greatest. We all have different likes and that is what makes the world go round. I take my helmet off to all the women riders out there. This is not just for men any more.
I cannot wait for the weather to turn warmer and the roads are cleaned up so I can get out there and ride. I wish I didn't have to work so I could ride all day. I love the freedom I feel when I ride.
I do recommend the riders course. I took it and it was worth every cent. I learned alot about driving - period. You also learn about the changes in the laws that they do not send to you in the mail. There were alot of changes since I got my drivers license. It makes me more aware of my surroundings. Excellent course. Totally recommend it.
